Bachelor's Degree in Infant Education >>

Child education, understood comprehensively, caters for the education process which extends from birth to the beginning of compulsory schooling (0-6 years). Our society must offer specialist professionals in promoting development of all capacities in individuals, adequately guiding them in a balanced manner and offering a comprehensive training. We have the required knowledge and instruments to prepare this kind of professionals, as a result of uncountable research and studies about this age period and also, of course, of our experience in training teachers.

Professional opportunities

Graduates from this degree can work as teachers in child or primary education both in public and in private centres, as well as working in other occupations related to child and teenage education in specialized centres attending children with disabilities and centres attending children in general. They can also take up open air activities for youth and adults organized by the public administration. In private companies, their most logical working opportunities focus on teaching centres and academies, without outruling the sports and cultural associations, cultural foundations, NGOs, training companies, publishing trusts, sociocultural animation companies, hospitals -for undertaking activities with children and the aged-, leisure centres and kindergardens, among others.

Within the field of self-employment, mention should be made of the sociocultural animation companies for children, youth and the aged, education counselling, as well as service companies offering activities for public and private agencies. They are trained to undertake their work in diverse settings outside the standard education system as well as with organizations for youth, adults or the aged; so other professional areas of growth which offer them access to work are the teaching cooperative companies, school farms, work fields or leasure companies.
