These studies offer adequate training to cover the needs of industry and Administration in the field of Mechanical Engineering. This degree is oriented to training of specialists with the capacity of designing and maintaining machines and industrial facilities, directing industrial work, taking responsibility for industrial structures and buildings, as well as organizing and managing production. They will also be able to manage and develop projects aimed at building and exploiting structures, mechanical equipment, energy facilities and manufacturing processes.
After completing these studies, the graduates will have the following academic and professional opportunities:
Activity in practically all sectors: mechanical industry, building, gas, electricity, metal and derived works, and university and preuniversity teaching and Public Administration. Most common working areas: industrial production, industrial maintenance and exploitation.
