Structure of the Grade in Marketing and Market Research

  • Basic training: 60 credits.
  • Compulsory: 156 credits.
  • Optional: 6 credits.
  • External Internships: 12 credits.
  • End of Grade Dissertation: 6 credits.
  • TOTAL: 240 credits.

Calendar for the Modules:

  • Module 1, Basic Training, includes basic contents in common with all degrees of the branch of Economy and Company. It is offered during the first year of the Grade.
  • Modules 2 and 3 include subject - matters that are an extension of basic training and are also in common with all degrees of the branch of Economy and Company. It is offered during the second year of the Grade.
  • Modules 4 to 10 include subject - matters from the Grade in Marketing and Market Research. They are offered during the second, third and fourth years of the Grade.
  • Module 11 includes the optional subjects of the degree as an alternative to the recognition foreseen in article 12.8 of Royal Decree 1393/2007. It is offered during the fourth year of the Grade.
  • Module 12, Professional Projection, includes the compulsory End of Grade Dissertation. This Module also includes the External Internships, foreseen for the fourth year of the Grade. Students who do not undertake this External Internship must follow a compulsory subject matter that includes similar competences and which is also offered in the fourth year of the grade.

Subjects

Prerequisites and Corequisites

The Syllabus may include special conditions required for registration or for studying one or more of its subjects. These conditions are the PREREQUISITES: Subject or group of subjects, called "key" subjects, which must have been studied or passed before.

This link shows the equivalencies between subjects of former syllabi in order to facilitate adaptation of students to the new grade. Application for adaptation of students from the degree mentioned will lead to automatic recognition of all the credits contained in this chart:

Adaptation Procedure

Students from the current Degree in Market Research and Techniques from choose from the following options:

1.) Finish the 5-year degree in Market Research and Techniques, which will progressively disappear, following the calendar in the degree report and the regulation established by the University of Almeria.

2.) Adapt to the new official Grade degree in Marketing and Market Research In this case the adaptation chart on this page will apply.

3.) The calendar for termination of the above studies will be implemented gradually. Once each year is terminated, there will be four exam sittings in the following two academic years.
