The objective is to train specialized technicians and researchers in the greenhouse technology sector with the multidisplinary competences required in agronomy and engineering to design, build and exploit the horticultural systems of the most productive, viable, efficient greenhouses of the future with scarce resources like water and energy and in an environment-friendly manner.
After completing these studies, the graduates will have the following academic and professional opportunities:
Students may enter the master degree in Greenhouse Technology and Innovation preferably from the new degrees in agronomy, as well as from those of engineering and similar sciences. Those who successfully complete this degree will have preferent access to the doctorate program in Greenhouse Technology and Industrial and Environment Engineering
Students will actuire the necessary competences to start their research career in public or private research centres or to develop their working profession in companies or institutions related to greenhouse technology.
