This Master is intended for teachers at non-university levels who are interested in widening their training by research in fields related to their professional challenges. It offers updated knowledge about the diverse fields of research in curricular areas and contributes methodological training which allows to prepare and apply tools and resources for evaluation of the different types of learning. It focuses on elements which enable people to face problems and challenges of current education.

It is linked to graduates holding degrees in: Diplomas and Grades in Teacher Training; 5-Year Degree in Psychopedagogy; Bachellors and Graduates holding the Master for Secondary Teachers; Those holding the Secondary School Teaching Certificate (STC) or equivalent; Diplomas and grades in Social Education; Diplomas in Social Work; 5-Year Degree in Psychology; Grade Degree, 3-year Degree, Technical Engineer or Technical Architect; 5-Year Degree, Engineer or Architect; Other equivalent degrees for students from foreign universities.
According to the Royal Decree 1393/2007, this Master is a period of training which enables direct access to a doctoral thesis in its field of knowledge (Doctorate in Research in Didactics).
This Master promotes teacher's ongoing training, research, experimentation and innovation in education, a training which the current curricular regulation considers necessary, both at regional and national levels. Lines of Research include scientific and didactic updating in the curricular areas, teaching coordination, new technologies, counselling, tutorials, attention to diversity, innovation, teacher training.
