ECI/3858/2007 ORDER, of 27 December (State Official Gazette No. 312, of 29 December 2007): Requirements of the Teaching Master syllabus, objectives and competences that must be acquired by the the students, and basic contents organized by subjeects:
Generic psychopedagogic training Module (12 credits)
Specific didactic and epistemological Module (24 credits]
Internship Module, including an End of Master Dissertation (16 credits).
Complementary Module (8 credits)
Guidelines and legal instructions for this Master in Secondary Education focus on the pedagogical, didactic and disciplinary training required for teaching, and special attention is paid to the education internship in order to successfully face the future of teaching in the complex education system in the 21st century.
Depending on their entry degree, students must apply for preinscription in the speciality which best adapts to their studies and subsequent teaching work.
The degrees have been configured so, once completed, students may obtain a specialization. These specializations can be called by different names, although the most common ones are "Speciality", "Curricular Itinerary" or "Mention".
The "Master in Secondary Education Teaching" degree has the following Specialities:
The student must necessarily select one of these specialities. Further information may be found in point 5 of the report.
The Syllabus may include special conditions required for registration or for studying one or more of its subjects. These conditions are the PREREQUISITES: Subject or group of subjects, called "key" subjects, which must have been studied or passed before.
The "Master in Secondary Education Teaching" has no established prerequisite.
