Under the directives of the Manager, adopted at the Executive Council of the University of Almeria, the Director has the general aim of the internal coordination of the diverse services and units of the University in order to fulfil all actions included in the program of the governing plan, as well as those others which may arise from the changing requirements, and all this with the active participation of all those concerned. The Manager will attend particularly the following aspects: - Coordination of the various corresponding services and units so that both the working conditions of the Administration and Services Personnel in the workposts and the personal development conditions are the most adequate: timetable flexibility in case of reconciling work activity with family life, equalization of working conditions among civil servants and personnel under contract, equality of conditions for workers in the morning shift and the afternoon shift, licences for Administration and Services personnel for vocational training, reduction of unstable employment, full integration and follow up of those with some level of disability in their work posts, adaptation of work posts to real needs, national and international mobility, establishment of a protocole for identifying situations of mobbing, etc. - Coordination among related services with infrastructures, maintenance and equipment in order to establish an input for information about all requirements of equipment and infrastructure oriented to the improvement of working conditions of the administration and services personnel, teaching and training in the new EHEA. Responses to these requirements will be evaluated and implemented in the light of real technological possibilities and the economic budget of the University. - Control and Follow-up of the fulfilment of services contracted by the University of Almeria and offered to the university community: cleaning, security, reprography, canteen, cafeterias, courier service, etc. - Coordination of the establishment of the electronic administration within the administrative and academic management. - Management of the Welfare Plan of the University of Almeria - Adoption of the necessary organization and technical measures in order to improve the university services so they meet the needs and expectations of the university community. For this purpose a survey will be performed taking into account the objectives established by the Office of the University Ombudsman, the requirements of the Students Council, the results offered by evaluations made by the Quality Unit and the information offered through the Quality System of the Administration and Services (Quality Committee). - Coordination among academic, administrative and/or youth units and services in order to centralize the information in one Students Office, as Comprehensive Assistance Service to university members, which may centralize all the information about the University of Almeria of interest for students, both for those who are currently studying and also former or future students. The Vicemanager will also attend to and promote actions foreseen in the Governing Project such as: renegotiation of the agreement with the kindergarten of the University, development of children workshops throughout the year, proposal of creation of aid for disabled child care or the elderly and support for the prevention and environmental policies in the administrative management of services.
Under the directives of the Manager, adopted at the Executive Council of the University of Almeria, the Director, conscious of the fact that the Human Resources are the most important asset of the Institution, will have as objectives: - Promote an atmosphere of full confidance in which workers feel free to offer their opinion, act and participate. - Promote positive attitudes and constructive ideas. - Facilitate participation and grouping, so people feel responsible in the fulfilment of their functions. - Promote collective identity of the Institution. For the development of these objectives, the following initiatives will be undertaken: 1. Planning. a. Promote and coordinate a new formative system based on management by competences (attitudinal and technical). b. Promote the establishment of a management system based on concepts and quality techniques (management by provesses, objectives, etc.) which may enable evaluation/certification of the different areas or services and care for and coordinate the implantation and follow-up of the productivity supplement. c. Promote the total quality culture in the Area of Administration and Services, using the European Excellence Model (European Foundation for Quality Management - EFQM). 2. Organization. Involve the different groups of interest (government team, administrative areas, work representatives, unions, etc.) in the management of the Organization, in order to: a. Adapt the design of the new strcture of the work post list (WPL) of the organization to the new requirements and the new framework derived from our integration into the European Area, with active participation of those concerned. b. Prepare a mannual of functions which may assure a successful functioning of the organization and may become a guarantee for the workers, based on the competences required for developing excellence in one work post. c. Adapting and modifying the regulations which concern promotion and provision of work posts and work licences.
ICT Service management. Support for central servers, communications and information security at the University of Almeria
La Coordinación de Contratos-Programa de la Universidad de Almería tiene principalmente 2 funciones. En primer lugar se encarga de coordinar el seguimiento, recogida de información, presentación de resultados y auditoría de los indicadores del Contrato-Programa de la Universidad de Almería con la Consejería de Economía, Innovación, Ciencia y Empleo de la Junta de Andalucía en el ámbito del sistema de financiación de las universidades andaluzas. Asimismo, se gestiona el diseño, seguimiento y evaluación de los Contratos Programa con Centros y Departamentos que desde el año 2005 se han venido desarrollando en el marco del sistema de dirección por objetivos en la Universidad de Almería.
Coordinación de Contabilidad Analítica y Plan de Auditoría y Control Interno (PACI) Los objetivos de la Contabilidad Analítica son, entre otros, el cálculo de los costes de los servicios universitarios y sus márgenes de cobertura, la obtención de información adecuada para orientar la toma de decisiones y la evaluación de la eficiencia y economía en la gestión de los recursos públicos. Por otra parte, se realizan los informes requeridos por el Plan de Auditoría y Control Interno , que recoge las áreas de control económico sobre las que actuar y las actividades de control interno a realizar
La Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU) es la gestión ética e inteligente de los impactos que genera la organización en su entorno humano, social y natural, y busca mejorar la Universidad que tiene que hacer frente a las nuevas realidades cambiantes. La Responsabilidad Social Universitaria es un nuevo paradigma y un reto que día a día se esta afrontando. Todos los años se evidencia los resultados de esta gestión mediante una Memoria que es presentada a la comunidad Universitaria.
