Meet us
Research, development and technological innovation processes are fundamental tasks in Universities, within the European Higher Research Area and the new criteria guiding the Scientific Policy in Spain and in our Andalusian Community.
We intend to help facilitating knowledge transfer activities, increasing the number of RDI centres and intensifying our relation with Technological Parks and Technology-based firms (TBFs / EBTs)
For this purpose, the Vicerectorate is subdivided into several Secretariats with specific functions, in order to facilitate the work of researchers and also the University Library.
The Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI), the Foundations of the University in Almeria (Mediterranea and ANECOOP) are active elements for facilitating interaction between the University and Companies
We understant that the participation of researchers, technological agents and companies by offering ideas and initiatives is fundamental for research and innovation to improve the quality of life of citizens.
