  • Module 1. Basic module, 60 Credits.
  • Module 2. Social aspects of Environment, 18 Credits.
  • Module 3. Environment technology, 24 Credits.
  • Module 4. Environment Management, Quality, Conservation and Planning, 42 Credits.
  • Module 5. Instrumental subject - matters, 18 Credits.
  • Module 6. Transversal environment knowledge and techniques, 18 Credits.
  • Module 7. Scientific bases of the natural environment, 36 Credits.
  • Module 8. Global change, 12 Credits.
  • Module 9. Optional, 12 Credits.

Calendar for the Modules:

  • The First year contains the subject - matters of the "Basic" Module, which offers the scientific knowledge that all graduates in science should acquire.
  • The following years contain the rest of the subject-matters, so Second year in basically focussed on the “Scientific bases of the natural environment” and “Social aspects of Environment” Modules.
  • The Third year contains the Subject - matters of the Module “Environment Management, Quality, Conservation and Planning".
  • And the Fourth year mainly contains the “Global change”, “Optional” and “Transversal environment knowledge and techniques” modules.
  • The Fourth year contains a Subject for all students to undertake their “End of grade dissertation”, and consists of an original project integrating the acquired competences in the different subject - matters.
  • The Optional module may also be completed by undertaking external internships in the companies which have signed an agreement for this purpose.

Prérequis et corequis

The Syllabus may include special conditions required for registration or for studying one or more of its subjects. These conditions are the PREREQUISITES: Subject or group of subjects, called "key" which must have been studied or passed before.

The Degree "Grade in Environment Studies", has no prerequisite established.

Adaptation

This link shows the equivalencies between subjects of former syllabi in order to facilitate adaptation of students to the new grade. Application for adaptation of students from the degree mentioned will lead to automatic recognition of all the credits contained in this chart:

Procédure d'adaptation

Students from the current degree in Environment Science (Syllabus year 2000) may choose among the following options:

  • To finish the studies in the degree in Environment Science. (Syllabus year 2000), which will progressively disappear, according to the regulation established by the University of Almeria.
  • Adapt to the new official degree called Grade in Environment Science. For this purpose, a charter of required adaptations will be established.
  • The calendar for termination of the above studies will be implemented gradually. Once each year is terminated, there will be four exam sittings in the following two academic years.
